Two-Toned Cabinets

twice as nice
Contrasting and tonal colour variations are a strong trend in kitchen design right now.
Using different colours or materials adds depth and interest to your space.

By ‘blocking’ the colour variation – for example above counter and below counter cupboards in contrast colours the effect gives visual interest without it feeling overwhelming.  Another option is to use contrast door panels on an adjoining wall – this is a great way to break up a large expanse of cabinetry.

You can also create this effect with using different materials for your cabinetry – timber works well as a highlight against both black and white, or you could add a contrasting splashback to break up an all-white space.

Another option is to add a feature wall in a rich hue that complements the materials in your kitchen fit-out.

If you’re looking to update your space, simply replacing your overhead or under bench cabinets may be just the ticket, why not give us a call today to find out more.
